These funds are awarded as grants, not loans, and there is no expectation of repayment. The criteria for an emergency can include an unforeseen event that creates a personal economic hardship, 家庭危机, 直系亲属的死亡, or a short-term financial emergency when other resources have been exhausted.

A donor-advised fund (DAF) is like a charitable savings account, giving you the flexibility to recommend how much and how often money is granted to 阿斯彭山谷医院基金会 and other qualified charities. You can recommend a grant or recurring grants now to make an immediate impact. You can also leave a legacy by naming 阿斯彭山谷医院基金会 as a beneficiary of the entire account or a percentage of the DAF after you pass away.

One of the best ways to 节省税收 in a significant way is to make a gift of appreciated stocks, 共同基金股份, 或者给阿斯彭山谷医院基金会的债券.  When you donate securities that have grown in value and that you have held for more than one year, you avoid paying all of the capital gains tax that would normally be due if you sold the securities.  除了, you are entitled to an income tax deduction for the full fair market value of the securities.
